Feng Shui can be a little confusing. There are a few different schools of Feng Shui and every person who practices it has their own style.
Put another way, if you asked five different people to give you directions from your hotel to a restaurant on the other side of town, you may very well get five different sets of directions. Each of those routes may get you to the restaurant, but some may take longer to get there, may have tolls, may take you through dangerous parts of town and/or may cost more in fuel.
Feng Shui is no different.
