Clutter and Feng Shui

Feng Shui ClutterCleaning: it’s not just for Spring.

If you want real changes in your life, and you want something “new” to show up in your life, throw away the “old”.

According to Feng Shui, clutter is very bad.

We all have a box of stuff that we keep saying “I might need that later… when I get a bigger place… When I lose weight…”

If you don’t need it regularly and it’s cluttering up your home, throw it out!

Especially throw out the things that don’t make you feel good; things that remind you of sad times or pictures from a previous bad relationship.

By doing so, you are creating new space for something new and exciting to come in.

Happy cleaning!

If throwing out the clutter doesn’t drastically improve your situation, you need to contact me right now to inquire about a Feng Shui Space Clearing or a Virtual Feng Shui Consultation

Slanted Ceilings and Feng Shui

Feng Shui Slanted CeilingsIf you spend a lot of time in a space where the ceiling slants down towards you (above the bed, or above your desk), you may be in a situation where the chi is “smashing down” on you and disturbing your personal energies.

You can place a mirror facing up with the intention that you are reflecting, or lifting the ceiling back up.
Place this mirror somewhere between the top of your head and the ceiling, so that the energy is reflected away before it comes crashing down on you.

Family Relationship Feng Shui

Feng Shui FamilyDo you ever feel like your family is constantly at each others’ throats?

Are little comments sparking up major arguments?

Look around your house and make sure your family pictures or your children’s pictures are not on top of the fireplace or TV.

Think of it… you’re family is on fire!

Instead, put your family picture in a dining room or family room where you want to enjoy spending time together as a family.
