Can’t Sleep at Night? Use Feng Shui Cures.

Feng Shui for Better Sleep -BooksWhat’s in your bedroom?

Your bedroom should be a place of peace and quiet; a place where you can go at the end of the day and unwind….

Your bedroom should not be a place to eat, watch TV, scroll on your phone, or read.

When you are laying in your bed, do you see clutter in your room?

Is there a mirror facing your bed?

Is there “stuff” on top and inside your night stand that does not belong in the bedroom?

Make sure that bedroom is a place of relaxation.

Don’t store things under the bed.

Eliminate sources of EMF stimulation cellphones and televisions. The only electronic device should be a white noise sound machine.

Light disturbs sleep patterns, so I suggest blackout curtains and other methods to block light while you sleep.

If you are living in a one bedroom home that doesn’t have a lot of space?
Then make sure things can be put away in containers or cabinets where you don’t have to see them when you go to sleep or when you wake up.
If you are going to invest time cleaning and redecorating a room in your house, redo the bedroom that you spend most of your time in.
Remember, your bedroom is a place for relaxation, peace, and rejuvenation; a place of love.
When you get a good night’s rest, you are more likely to get things done throughout the day.
Increased productivity could equal to more money as well.

Clutter and Feng Shui

Feng Shui ClutterCleaning: it’s not just for Spring.

If you want real changes in your life, and you want something “new” to show up in your life, throw away the “old”.

According to Feng Shui, clutter is very bad.

We all have a box of stuff that we keep saying “I might need that later… when I get a bigger place… When I lose weight…”

If you don’t need it regularly and it’s cluttering up your home, throw it out!

Especially throw out the things that don’t make you feel good; things that remind you of sad times or pictures from a previous bad relationship.

By doing so, you are creating new space for something new and exciting to come in.

Happy cleaning!

Feng Shui Energy Down the Drain

Feng Shui Money Down the DrainI know this sounds funny, but keep your toilet lids closed.

You don’t want your Feng Shui energy going down the drain!

Even sink drains can cause a problem for the same reason.

Even just having a toilet in many places in your home can impact various aspects of your life.

If your bathroom is in the Wealth corner of your home, this might mean that you can’t hold onto money very well.

Your career might be impacted if you have a toilet near the front wall of your house.  How about a bathroom in your Love & Relationships corner?  You get the picture.

Feng Shui Red ToiletHow about cures for all of the ills that a bathroom creates?

Use a red toilet cover.

I have even seen some people paint the underside of the toilet seat red or the color of the appropriate Feng Shui color.

Place convex Bagua mirrors under drains.

Wrap red duct tape or tie red strings or ribbons around drain pipes.

And don’t forget to do the same in your business.

If you have toilets without lids inside of your office, perhaps that’s something you should add.

Plants and Feng Shui

Feng Shui Plants -Money Tree or CrassulaIf you have dead plants in your home, throw them out!

If you are trying to bring them back to life and they don’t grow back within a few weeks, don’t hesitate to throw them out!

Dead plants, dried flowers, and empty pots are not good Feng Shui.

They represent death and weaken the energy in your house or office.

If it doesn’t look good, it’s not good to have it in your house!

Add some life to your home with living plants that represent what you want and put them in the right places.

Adding a money plant like a Crassula (pictured right) in your Wealth & Prosperity corner, for instance, would be a much better step than adding a desert cactus in your Love / Marriage / Relationships corner.
